Sidewalks Update The Property Owners' Improvement District (PBID) has received its initial funding and work will soon begin on Larchmont Boulevard. Within the next month we anticipate having all the trees trimmed and the sidewalks steamed cleaned between First Street and Beverly Boulevard. The tree trimming will be done annually and the sidewalks will be steam-cleaned every other month. Sidewalk repair will be done in stages as it is quite expensive and the PBID funds are limited. This year the sidewalk will be replaced from Rite Aid to Noah's Bagels. It has been determined that this stretch of sidewalk is in the most dire need of repair. As the sidewalks are replaced, those trees whose root systems will be compromised by sidewalk repair will be replaced with new trees and root guards.
